'Back to the Future' Transports Audiences to Concert Venues in its 30th Anniversary Year

IMG Artists and the Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency Ink Deal with Universal Pictures to Produce Blockbuster with Live Orchestras

Oscar®-nominated composer Alan Silvestri Prepares New Music as an Exclusive Bonus

Los Angeles, Calif.  — Power up the DeLorean! IMG Artists and the Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency are delighted to announce they will bring Back to the Future to concert halls and other performance venues around the world just in time for its 30th anniversary. The co-producing partners have signed a worldwide deal with Universal Pictures to present the Academy Award®-winning film at major concert venues with live orchestras performing the score in synch with the picture. The world premiere will be given by the 21st Century Orchestra in Lucerne, Switzerland in late May, 2015.

As a special added bonus, Alan Silvestri is preparing 15 minutes of new score exclusively for these special presentations, which is sure to provide an extra 1.21 gigawatts of excitement to the experience!

Back to the Future, starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Crispin Glover, is the epic sci-fi adventure that topped the 1985 box office spawning two wildly successful sequels and stamping a permanent imprint on pop culture consciousness.
